5 Healthy Meals For Breakfast.

Some have argued about breakfast being the most important meal of the day or not. This argument is due to our busy schedules that allow majority of people skip breakfast. But In my own opinion Breakfast is important.

Eating breakfast kicks start your metabolism for the day, providing enough strength and calories for the day activities. Hence the type of meal consumed is considered.

Here are a few healthy meals you can eat for breakfast that won’t weaken you or make you sluggish throughout the day;

5. Toast & Coffee

This is a very nutritious meal that supplies essential nutrients for the day. The coffee which contains caffeine keeps you alert and active,while the toast which is often eaten with peanut butter is helpful against diabetes.

4. Pancakes & Eggs.

This meal is very filling, it is very satisfying and can take you for a whole day. The amount of nutrients lost during frying of the pancake when mixed with egg, ( which helps reduce more calorie intake in the next meal) is often derived. Egg yolk contains some antioxidant which help prevents eye disorders.

3. Green Tea & Bean Cake.

Green tea is a high nutritious beverage. It contains caffeine which helps controls alertness and mood swings, when combines with beans cake, it supplies enough nutrients and antioxidant for repairing body parts.

2. Fruit juice

A glass of blended fruit juice or smoothie such as banana, apple, pawpaw ,watermelon helps stimulates the brain and alertness for daily activities. Milk or egg and also be added to the blend to increase the protein content.

1. Oatmeal & Berries.

Oatmeal is made from ground oats and is a great meal for cereal lovers. It fiber has many great benefits and does not contain cholesterol. It can be consumed with various fruits, such as berries which increase the nutritional components of the meal. It should also be taken with milk, egg and cheese to boost it protein quality.

Bottom Line:

Skipping breakfast doesn’t have any adverse effects, while eating breakfast is a plus for healthy living. Just eat the right ones.

    I need strength for the work I do.. I believe the first option is what I want, coffee and toast or burger.
    Don’t think the others will fill me up.. Nice write up.
    Can one eat yam porridge as breakfast and when is it healthy to eat 6am as breakfast.
