Beef Intestine Pepper Soup Recipe For Cold/Rainy Weather.

In some parts of Africa at the moment, it is the rainy season. Unlike varying european countries, which have about four seasons and do not experience winter until probably November/December. Countries that lie along the line of the equator (Nigeria, Singapore, Cambodia…) to mention a few, experience just 2 climate seasons which are: Harmattan/dry and Rainy/wet.

Rainy seasons conditions the atmosphere, excess of rain to grow crops and plants. Some states experience fogs and mists while others are cold regions.

Thus, I’ll be sharing a delightful recipe to keep warm and other healthy food to eat during cold seasons.

Pepper soup is a medicinal broth that helps cure ,chest pain,catarrh, headache and clear the respiratory system. Aids digestion and contain antibacterial properties due to the spices involved.

Beef Intestines on the other hand is proteinous ,contains vitamins B12 and folate. Hence the right food for the weather.

Ingredients.

4 Cups of Water

1/2 Kg of Beef intestine, washed and diced.

2 tbsp Ginger/Garlic/Onions (blended together)

1 cube of Maggi

1 tbsp of Salt

2 tbsp of Pepper soup seasoning.

Saint leaf

2 tbsp of Fresh pepper (blended parboiled pepper).

Procedure.

Washed/Diced meats intestine are transferred into a clean pot and enough water(as desired) is poured in to it.

Concoction (blended garlic ,ginger, onions) is also added.

Fresh onions can be diced into the pot.

Fresh parboiled pepper is also added.

Saint leaf is washed and chopped and added into the pot.

Mixture is stirred and allowed to boil for 20minutes.

Pepper soup is ready!!!

Pepper soup can be eaten with rice or bread.

Beef intestine pepper soup is more preferable to that of fish or chicken as it tends to accelerate the pumping of blood to the heart.
