
Not everyone likes gluten. Studies have shown that accumulation of excess gluten in the body (which is derived from flour) can lead to celiac disease in the body( I have no idea what the disease is).
Some people are allergic to gluten, yes you heard right, once they consume any gluten product, they begin to show pores and spots on their skin…Hence they all want to stay gluten free.
Also, if you don’t have flour at home and you probably feel like eating some cake without buying, you can try out these flour-less cakes.
1.Chocolate cake: mostly is very healthy for diabetic patients also and you do not need wheat flour/multipurpose flour to bake it.
Ingredients. (For a size “6” cake)
3 Eggs,
1/2 ounce of butter /125g of margarine
chocolate chips,
1 cup granulated sugar,
I/4 tsp salt,
1/2 tbsp baking powder.
2 cups cocoa powder.
1/2 tsp nescafe/coffee/ vanilla flavour.
Procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius, prepare your “6 inch pan by lining with a baking sheet and grease it.
- Melt chocolate chips and butter in the oven till its melts.
- Add sugar and salt and baking powder to the melted mixture and stir.
- Beat eggs, vanilla flavour or dissolved coffee together, and add gradually to the mixture.
- Cocoa powder is finally added…stirred properly, poured into the baking pan which has been lined with a baking sheet and chocolate dust slightly..
- Bake at 250degree for 15 minutes.
- You can sprinkle some sugar on it..
- Or a glaze (mixture of chocolate chips + cream /milk).
2. Apple Cake

Apples are highly nutritious and help protect against heart diseases.
Ingredients:
2 large apples
1/2 ounce of Butter/ 125g of margarine
1 cup of Sugar
3 Eggs
1/2 tbsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Almond nuts, ginger or nutmeg
1/2 tsp Vanilla flavour
Procedure:
- Wash apples, remove skin, clove and blend.
- Melt butter and diced apples (that wasn’t blended) on heat. Add suagr for caramelization.
- Blend almond nuts, ginger /nutmeg…
- Add blended apples to melted butter, add coarse almond grounded.
- Add baking powder to the mixture and stir..
- Add beaten eggs (vanilla flavour added)to the whole mixture, pour into a baking pan that has already been greased and lined with a baking sheet.
- Bake @ 250 degrees for 20 minutes !
- Check cake constantly so it won’t be over-browned.
